Palace Casino Resort - Games Overview - Spanish 21Spanish 21 is a variation to the popular casino game Blackjack or "21". Spanish 21 is played with a "Spanish Deck" of cards which is a standard deck of cards with only the 10's removed, Face cards are still included. Like its name sake, each player is dealt two cards face up. The dealer also receives two cards, one face up, one down. The dealer checks the cards of all players with the "Match The Dealer" (see below) wager to see if either of their first two cards exactly match the dealer's up card in rank. Winning wagers are paid and all others are removed. The game of Spanish 21 continues. All players compete against the dealer. The dealer
progresses in a clockwise manner from player to player. After all players have
had their turn at drawing additional cards, the dealer turns his/her card over
and draws additional cards if required. The object of the game is to score
closer to 21 than the dealer, without going over. Face cards count as 10, aces
count as either one or 11, and all other cards count as their face value. You
may draw additional cards to raise your count closer to 21, if you so choose. Spanish 21 also offers the added excitement of the following: Player Blackjack
